A word on the scores, because they are easy to misread. The number measures how often a general traveller reaches for that operator and how predictable the result is when they do. It is not a verdict on which company is best. A specialist who arranges twenty routes a year for people who ring up and ask for them scores lower here than a site answering nine million searches a day, and is still better at the thing it does than anything else on this page.
